Conduct yourself as a Professional. Rules of conduct We are professional traders in a professional environment. It is our goal to maintain a low volume/noise, high quality concept. At all times, the standards maintained in TraderTechniques, will be of the highest professional quality. We ask that all members adopt this professional manner in our channel. Active participation and discussions are encouraged, as it is what makes us unique and successful. Members may familiarize with other members, but any personal information should never be exchanged with each other. Idle chat and off-topic conversations during active market hours of 8:00 a.m. EST and 6:00 p.m. EST are to be avoided at all measures. Any sort of disruptions to the forum by any member will be reasons for an immediate ban from the site. Conduct business as business should be conducted at all times. Posting any other trading channels or forums other than TraderTechniques is prohibited. Any “Url” or web address that pertains to a site other than trading, such as offensive channels will be reason for a member to be banned. If you’re not a Team player in TraderTechniques forum you are in the wrong channel. Any behavior deemed to be disruptive would be dealt with quickly and with as little commotion as possible, to avoid disrupting the flow of trading. Warnings MAY be issued, however the practice of "hyping" stocks in either positive or negative fashion will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate removal from the channel. Be advised that some participating individuals may not be whom they appear to be and may have hidden agendas, so please use your own judgment in validating any information from others. Posting your own trades is allowed in the text channel of TraderTechniques. No colors, or banners are allowed in the text site with any trade. The standard mIRC format of posting a trade is allowed by typing “/me Buys xxyzz @ $32”, is the only format permitted. Using other variation of colored text will get you banned for the day after warning has been issued. TraderTechniques reserves the right to deal with disruptive users as we see fit. Use of and its facilities is a PRIVILEGE, not a right. You may NOT give recommendations, you may not tell people what THEY should do. Focus on your own trades, and don’t worry about other traders. (I.e. Buy XXYZZ, Sell XXYZZ) TraderTechniques Code of Conduct is based upon respect for fellow participants. The use of damaging speech, such as: harassment, libel, slander, defamation, etc. is treated with zero tolerance.
